Our office places white tooth colored composite fillings. They can be placed to restore decay or repair a chipped tooth. They can be used for front or back teeth when the restoration is small.
How are they done? Fillings are prepped and placed the same day. After the decay is removed a solution is placed to bond the filling, followed by the tooth colored composite material. Once the filling is in position it is cured with a special light to harden the material. White fillings can last five to 10 years depending on the location and the care you give your teeth.
