Oral cancer kills as many Americans as skin or cervical cancer.  Our office uses the visual screening at each appointment but also uses the Velscope lightning system alternating with radiograph visits.  .  If the results show unhealthy precancerous cells we will refer to an oral surgeon for a traditional surgical biopsy.
